On 5th October 2013, the Centre for Computer-Assisted Research Mathematics and its
Applications (CARMA), is
hosting a one-day number theory workshop in Newcastle, which we are calling Number Theory Down Under.
The workshop will take place
at the Harbourview Function Centre. The Harbourview
Function Centre is located on the Hunter River just a moment's walk away from downtown Newcastle and Nobbys Beach.
Talks on recent results and problems of interest are invited from researchers of all levels; the only restriction is that it should be on a currently relevant area which is
considered number theory. Student participation is encouraged.
Details about registration, confirmed participants, accommodation, travel, and anything else needed can be found below.
Please email one of the organisers, Michael Coons
